I touched my first computer in the early 80's. It was at school, at a Computer Club were we had a Commodore Vic20. Soon after a few of my friends had a Commodore 64 (Click There for some C64 resources), so I decided I wanted one as well... |

| It's on that machine I started to learn a bit of programming in BASIC. At first I just copied listings from books,
then I modified a few variables in the listing to see what that does and learn a few keywords. I then started to write some really little programs on my own. At that time, some little wars started between C64/C128 owners and Atari ST owners at school. I believe it's at that time that some of my friends started to look at IBM-Compatible (PC). |

| The first one I "played with" was the TO7, followed by the TO70 The TO7 appeared in September 1982 with an Optical Pen included as well as a Cartidge Drive. The TO70 had more RAM (64KB instead of 24KO which you could increase up to 128KO) and 16 colors instead of the 8 Colors of the TO7. It also had the BASIC (really similar to the C64) | ![]() |
| Then a year later, I made a new friend with who I spend a lot of time He had an MO5 or an MO9 on which we played a lot. I also wrote some little applications in BASIC for it. |
